HTC Mogul
Posted in Uncategorized on June 28, 2008 by GeorgeJust testing out my new phone, It’s a htc mogul and so far i’m loving it. I was going to wait for a iPhone and then the Sprint Instinct came out but I hate touch screen keyboards and AT&T is to expensive. I highly recommend the HTC Mogul, the keyboard is awesome, the web is good enough, but, there is so many browsers that I haven’t tried out yet.
I was looking for something that can keep me connected to messengers and e-mail and it does it beautifully. Also something to update our new project on the fly
. I’m going to see if I can put porn on my mogul, Bye.

Syriana: 5 out of 10. It’s a smart movie, but too talky and boring for my taste. Dan In Real Life: 8 out of 10. Not as funny as I thought it would be, but I laughed pretty hard at a couple of scenes and the story is really good. Enchanted: 8 out of 10. I love movies that surprise me. I thought this movie was gonna suck. This is a good film for the whole family. Mr. Brooks: 8 1/2 out of 10. Not a good film for the whole family. Good acting, good story, good all around, I loved it. Battlestar Galactica Season 3: 10 out of 10. Yep, a perfect score. If you like Star Wars or Star Trek then you’ll love this series. This is the best T.V show out there and no one watches it. Season 4 is the last season in the series and I can’t wait for the conclusion. If you’re not watching this show, I suggest you pick it up on D.V.D as soon as possible. I cannot stress enough how good this series is.

BOB’S BLU-RAY REVIEW OF “APPLESEED:EX MACHINA”

I know nothing about the series of manga books it’s based on, and I didn’t know what to expect from this movie. The Appleseed comic series was created by Shirow Masamune from “Ghost In The Shell” fame. To be fair, I’ve never seen ”Ghost In The Shell”, but after seeing this I will definitely pick it up. The story revolves around two S.W.A.T. team members in the distant future. One of the members is a 7 1/2 foot tall half man half cyborg, the other is a woman who is combat trained and can probably give Trinity from the “Matrix” a run for her money. In this world the robots control almost everything, wich is actually a good thing for a change. The robots look and act like humans but have no anger gene implanted in their memory. The robots end every conflict with a peaceful resolution…that is until a terrorist group comes to town and wants to take over. The movie has great action and terrific animation. The animation blends c.g. elements with anime style, it’s something unique and I don’t know if it’s ever been done this way before. The only complaint I had with the movie was the sound. The movie sounded a little too bassy for me. Other than that the movie was really good and the extras were great. I give “Appleseed:Ex Machina” an 8 out of 10.The visuals in this movie alone make it worth watching.
BOB’S BLU-RAY REVIEW OF “RATATOUILLE”
Posted in Uncategorized with tags ACADEMY AWARD, animation, blu-ray, c.g animation, CHEF, d.v.d, DISNEY, family film, HI-DEF, movie, OSCAR, PARIS, PATTON OSWALT, PIXAR, RAT, RATATOUILLE, restaurant, review on March 20, 2008 by bobbymdcmThis was a very good film for the whole family. I didn’t enjoy it as much as my wife or daughter, but the experience as a whole was a good one. The movie’s title character is voiced by Patton Oswalt who is one of the better stand-up acts out there. He doesn’t bring any of that quality to the role, but he does a servicable job. The movie takes place in Paris at one of the city’s most popular restaurants. The head chef has just passed away, and the restaurant is losing it’s reputation as one of the best restaurants in the city. A new garbage boy is hired, and he creates a dish that has everyone talking. No one knows that the boys culinary expertise comes from a little friend that lives in his hat. That friend is the rat. The rat controls the boys actions, thus creating spectacular dishes for the public to enjoy, but there are skeptics in the kitchen who can’t believe that a garbage boy with no culinary training can cook so well. I don’t see why this movie won an Oscar…i guess the competition was weak. The movie wasn’t very funny and the story was a little ridiculous, but watching it on a hi-def screen was very enjoyable. The visuals and the animation was fantastic, and the extras on the disc were pretty good. I give this one a 6 1/2 while my wife and daughter gave it a 10.
BOB’S BLU-RAY REVIEW OF THE INVASION
Posted in Uncategorized with tags ALIEN, blu-ray, CHASE, CONTAMINATION, CRASH, d.v.d, DANIEL CRAIG, Flu, movie, NICOLE KIDMAN, remake, review, SPACESHIP, THE INVASION, THE INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, zombie on March 18, 2008 by bobbymdcmThe Invasion stars Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. Kidman plays a psychologist and single mother who is sending her son away to her ex-husband for the first time in five years. Craig plays a doctor who is romantically interested in Kidman’s character. First of all, I have to say that Nicole Kidman has never looked so good, I don’t blame Craig’s character for wanting to fuck. This movie was a remake of the old classic “The Invasion Of The Body Snatchers”, I’ve never seen the original, so I can’t compare. The movie starts with a space shuttle that crash lands on Earth. The ships wreckage is contaminated with alien spores. People who come into contact with the substance start acting strange and not themselves. No one really takes notice until the number of cases rises to catastrophic levels. The nations top scientists rush to find a cure while Kidman runs away from the zombie like people who are chasing her throughout the movie. This movie got mixed reviews when it first came out, but I’m gonna recommend it. The action was well done and the story was pretty good. I give The Invasion a 7 out of 10.
